UNFAIR CREDIT AGREEMENTS

If you enter into a credit agreement today, you will likely receive unprecidented levels of protection from irresponsible lending practices thanks to the new unfair relationships provision. This change in the law was introduced because previous levels of protection were inadequate. It is fabulous news for consumers, Essentially it outlines the following argument:

"Any credit agreement can be regarded as unfair and unenforceable by a judge"

This has changed the financial world forever. Take a moment to think about the implications... This will genuinely save you £1,000's.
However, before you get too excited you may want to consider having your agreement audited, the audit will allow a solicitor or audit specialist to compare your agreement with rules set out by the Consumer Credit Act of 1974 (CCA1974) and subsequent ammendments. A copy of the CCA1974 is available courtesy of Financial Industry Standards Association (FISA).

Audits appear to vary in price from £500 down to £50 dependant upon who you ask.
